Born and raised in Longview, TX located in the heart of East Texas, Mark Cooke grew up singing and writing songs and honing his skills to build his first band. He served four years in the US Navy and started his first band, Cooke County Line, shortly after his enlisted was up. They became well known in their region and throughout the ArkLaTex opening for big Country and Rock ‘n’ roll artist as well as headlining their own shows. Mark would soon sign his first publishing deal in Nashville that would lead to his first record deal. Mark would make several accomplishments. His debut single, “Can’t Cheat in a Small Town,” was released in the summer of 2010 to rave reviews. The single made it all the way to #42 on the Music Row Chart and #56 on Billboard’s Indicator Chart. Mark followed with “I Love It,” which reached #41 on the Music Row Chart. Mark’s next single, “Any Way The Wind Blows,” also met success on the charts, reaching #44 on Music Row and breaking into the Top 60 on the Billboard Country Chart. Mark’s newly released single “Stay With Me Tonight” landed #39 on Billboard and a video was also released. Mark left the label about the time he married his wife Tonya. They would soon build a house a few minutes North of Nashville and soon become a family of four in the next couple of years. It was his decision to stay off the road the first four years and stay home with his two boys. Recently Mark decided it was time to get back in and signed with Bam Records. He is back to writing, recording and performing shows. He has added his hobby to his business by making a hunting and fishing show and plans on using his music, special guest and family as part of his show. Mark says that he is excited about getting back in to the music biz as well as filming fishing and hunting with friends and family.

We are Night Owl Country Band based out of Columbus, IN. that has played venues that include the Grand Ole Opry, 8 Seconds Saloon, headline the Kentucky Opry, Indy Style TV Show, and many more. We play Old Country, Outlaw Country, New Country, a little gospel, and some Southern Rock with music from Chris Stapleton, Merle Haggard, Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, Hank Jr., and many more. We also feature originals that are featured in the album ‘Here to Somewhere’ that include songs like 'Surprising Town' inspired by old memories of small town Hope, IN. and ‘Cool Gentle Wind’ that was released to National Radio in 2017. Also coming in 2018, we will be releasing our second and third single from the album. Members include: Matt Lee is founder of Night Owl Country Band, sings lead, writes songs, and plays bass, Matt has been traveling and singing gospel music for over 20 years and singing for 34 years. Brett Denney plays rhythm and sings backup, Brett has played Gospel for 35 years and rhythm for 15 years and has now became a key ingredient in our unique sound, also proud father of Anderson University student Melissa Denney and Indiana Pacers Pacemate Nici Denney. Steve Pardue, drummer for Night Owl, has over 20 years experience. During our acoustic sets, Steve also plays the cojón. Steve and Matt had traveled in a gospel band for 11 years prior to the start of Night Owl Country Band. Tim Dooley plays lead guitar for Night Owl and also transforms into an acoustic lead, mandolin, and harmonica player on certain songs. Tim has been playing for many years with a gospel, rock, and celtic music background. The band came into existence on Halloween 2015 and has made its presence known to the Country Music Industry in a short time.
